Analysis of the first two minutes of Indiana Jones The Raiders of The Lost Ark

The First Shot is an establishing shot. Of the area where these people are trekking.
We then get a low shot and see the peoples clothes and they keep looking behind them. By looking at their clothes we get the impression they they are poor and have been trekking for a while. This is because they are ripped dirty and wet. However the leader who's face we have not seen yet has smart clean clothes.

The opening of the first 2 minutes if quite active, it is the carry on from the last film. As the titles come up there is mysterious music and then we see a group of teenage friends around a campfire and ones is confessing that Jason, who has been the main character and monster throught out the friday the 13th's films, is  still alive. We then get shots of people telling storys and witnessing Jason in the flesh while this guy is telling the story what had acctually happened and that he is still a mystery.
